Got some good reviews and a decent rating I think. However, I found it to be a bit predictable and empty. One of special note is The Crimson Pandect, by Sine Nomine Publishing, the awesome writers of Red Tide, An Echo Resounding, Stars Without Numbers, et al. The Chateau's legendary Clock Tower was a beacon of jubilation once the darkening set. The on-going manga runs in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine (which Vertical has previously licensed 'Flowers of Evil' from), and currently has 2 volumes released. If nothing else The Crimson Horror surely proves once and for all that Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh), Jenny (Catrin Stewart) and Strax (Dan Starkey) could carry a spin-off series of their own. The Book Design Review is a blog dedicated to the best, and sometimes the worst, of book design, book covers, and book jackets. On the mountain Crimson from the south-west of the lake is located Kavgolovskogo track "Lightning" - sporting monument, created by skiers - riders in the middle of last century (sometimes used for the purpose). Got this book from Amazon's 'other people bought this' section. The Crimson Labyrinth by Yusuke Kishi. Cinda's books are always on the New York Times best seller list and she's one of my favorite fantasy authors. The Crimson Labyrinth succeeds in employing both these techniques.
